"When I set up my policy over the phone I made it crystal clear to the agent that I worked/lived in one state and had my vehicle registered in another, I own property in both states and that is perfectly legal. The agent told me to set up a policy in the state where I drove the most,once again I made myself very clear about the state in which my vehicle was registered and specifically asked the agent if it would effect my registration and he said NO. Well several months went by with no issue until I purchased a new vehicle. I registered in my home state and gave the dmv my insurance info and immediately called my local agent and had them put coverage on the new vehicle. A month and a half later my license is suspended for not having insurance..."
